I strongly recommend Articleship, Spending 3 Years as an Article Trainee is much more useful & effective than working as a qualified Chartered Accountant. See how employer looks at as a fresher or as a experienced is actually defined by our CV. As a terminology we are referred as "fresher" as a fresher qualified CA. But it is not only Employer's fault, it is more of our fault, when we apply for job after qualified, most of us never mention in detail 3 years breakup of complete experience & learning during Articleship. We always elaborate the post qualification experience in detail. I have shortlisted many candidates out of thousands of resumes of CA CS for Industries in my career of past 15 years , I have seen even newly qualified does not elaborate their Articleship Experience in past 3 years in detail. Many times I have interviewed candidates in ICAI Campus for newly qualifieds, at first stage when we screen them, most of the candidates did not get right opportunity because they do not mention their 3 years learning & experience breakup properly. So Articleship is a "Gurukul", here we work beyond ego, designation, CTC, work profile, family responsibility etc, criteria. Hope I have answered your query.
